Already Know Your Ring Size?

If you already know your standard US ring size, you can use it as your starting point when ordering a Dailot Miyuki ring.

For narrow Miyuki designs, select your usual US ring size.

Because wider handwoven bands cover more of the finger and may feel more fitted than a traditional metal ring, we recommend choosing one-half size larger for wide designs.

For example:

  • If you normally wear a US size 7 and the Miyuki ring has a narrow band, select size 7.

  • If you normally wear a US size 7 and the design has a wide band, consider selecting size 7.5.

  • If you are between two sizes, select the larger size.

For the best comparison, use the size of a metal ring that fits the same finger where you plan to wear your Dailot ring.

Find Your Perfect Dailot Fit

Miyuki rings are individually handwoven bead by bead. Because their structure and width differ from traditional metal rings, they may feel slightly more fitted on the finger.

Please measure carefully and review the guide below before selecting your size.

If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size. For wider Miyuki designs, consider selecting one-half size larger for a more comfortable fit.

Method 1: Measure a Ring You Already Own

For the most accurate at-home measurement:

  1. Choose a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
  2. Place it on a flat surface.
  3. Measure the inside diameter from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge.
  4. Measure only the open interior of the ring, not the outer edges.
  5. Record the measurement in millimeters.
  6. Compare the measurement with the “Inside Diameter” column below.

Method 2: Measure Your Finger

  1. Cut a narrow strip of paper approximately ¼ inch wide.
  2. Wrap it comfortably around the base of the finger where the ring will sit.
  3. Make sure it is fitted but not painfully tight.
  4. Mark the exact point where the paper overlaps.
  5. Lay the paper flat and measure it in millimeters.
  6. Compare the measurement with the “Finger Circumference” column below.

Measure the finger two or three times to confirm the result.

Tips for an Accurate Measurement

  • Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are typically at their natural fullest size.
  • Do not measure when your hands are unusually cold or swollen.
  • Measure the exact finger where you plan to wear the ring.
  • Keep in mind that the same finger may have a different size on your other hand.
  • If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, measure both areas and choose a size that can pass comfortably over the knuckle.
  • A properly fitted ring should feel secure but should slide over the knuckle with gentle resistance.
  • If you are between sizes, select the larger size.
  • Wider Miyuki bands may feel more fitted than narrow designs.

The Miyuki Fit

Dailot Miyuki rings are created by weaving tiny glass beads into detailed patterns. Their handcrafted construction gives them a distinctive feel that is different from a traditional metal band.

Your ring should feel secure without pinching the finger. Do not pull, stretch or force the ring, as this may damage its handwoven structure.
