Our Story
This story began around the year 2000, long before Dailot became the brand it is today. At first, I created accessories simply for myself—pieces that allowed me to express my personality through color, texture, and detail.
Everything began to change when I started working at a boutique. The owners noticed the jewelry I wore and asked me to create several necklaces for the store. That opportunity marked the beginning of something much greater than I had imagined. What started as a personal creative outlet soon became a growing business.
With time, I began working independently and built my first jewelry brand. A wonderful group of saleswomen helped introduce my creations to new customers, allowing my work to reach more people and giving me the confidence to continue developing my craft.
During that chapter, I also opened my own store in a shopping mall. I named it Padparadscha, inspired by the lotus blossom—my favorite flower and a symbol that remains an important part of the Dailot identity today. Owning that store was an unforgettable experience. It gave me the opportunity to connect directly with customers, understand what jewelry meant to them, and experience firsthand the joy of seeing someone choose and wear something I had created.
Wanting to deepen my knowledge, I began studying metalsmithing and jewelry-making techniques. However, when I became pregnant, I was unable to complete my studies, and balancing motherhood with the demands of creating and growing a business became increasingly difficult.
For a while, jewelry had to take a different place in my life—but the love I felt for it never disappeared.
Years later, I found my way back to the craft that had once captured my heart. Returning to jewelry-making felt natural, almost like reconnecting with a part of myself that had always been there. What began as curiosity became a profession, and what started as a profession grew into a true passion.
Today, Dailot represents that journey: beginnings, growth, pauses, rediscovery, and the courage to begin again. Through this online boutique, I am honored to share the experience I have gained, the artistry I continue to develop, and the love I place into every creation.
