Return, Exchange and Product Warranty Policy
Last updated: August 25, 2026
This Return, Exchange and Product Warranty Policy applies to products purchased from Total Beads LLC, doing business as Dailot (“Dailot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), through www.dailot.us or during an in-person appointment.
Please review this policy before completing your purchase.
1. No-Refund Policy
Dailot does not generally issue monetary refunds.
Eligible products may qualify for:
-
An exchange under our 15-day exchange policy; or
-
A repair or replacement under our 60-day limited product warranty.
Nothing in this policy limits a consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived. A refund may therefore be provided when expressly required by applicable law, including certain canceled orders, unavailable products, or orders that cannot be shipped within legally required timeframes.
2. Fifteen-Day Exchange Period
Customers may request an exchange within 15 calendar days.
For orders shipped to a customer, the 15-day period begins on the date the carrier records the order as delivered.
For purchases completed during an in-person appointment, the 15-day period begins on the date of purchase or pickup, whichever occurs later.
An exchange request submitted after the 15-day period will not ordinarily be accepted unless the product qualifies for coverage under the 60-day limited warranty or applicable law requires otherwise.
3. Exchange Eligibility
To qualify for an exchange, the product must:
-
Be unused, unworn, unaltered, and in its original condition.
-
Include its original packaging, components, accessories, and tags, if applicable.
-
Be accompanied by a receipt, order confirmation, or other acceptable proof of purchase.
-
Be returned in a condition that allows Dailot to inspect it.
-
Have been purchased directly from Dailot.
Products showing signs of use, wear, misuse, alteration, improper care, or damage caused after delivery may not qualify for a standard exchange.
Before sending a product back, customers must contact bydailot@gmail.com and receive return instructions. Products returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.
4. Exchanges
Dailot does not guarantee that the same product, color, size, design, or variation will be available when an exchange is requested.
If an exchange is approved:
-
The customer may select an eligible replacement product of equal value; or
-
If the replacement has a higher price, the customer must pay the difference.
If the requested replacement is unavailable, Dailot may offer another eligible product or another remedy permitted under this policy and applicable law.
No cash refund will be issued for a replacement product with a lower price unless required by law.
5. Return Shipping Costs
If a return or exchange is requested because the customer changed their mind, selected the wrong product, provided incorrect information, or for another reason not caused by Dailot, the customer is responsible for:
-
Return shipping charges.
-
Appropriate protective packaging.
-
Any applicable reshipping charge for the replacement product.
-
The risk of loss or damage until the returned product is delivered to Dailot.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining the shipping receipt.
If Dailot confirms that the wrong product was sent or that the product has a covered manufacturing defect, Dailot will provide appropriate return instructions and cover reasonable shipping expenses associated with the approved remedy.
Original shipping charges are not refundable except where required by law or where Dailot confirms that the problem was caused by our error.
6. Sixty-Day Limited Product Warranty
Dailot provides a limited 60-day warranty covering verified defects in workmanship or manufacturing.
The warranty provides a repair or, when repair is not reasonably possible, an exchange or replacement. The warranty does not ordinarily provide a monetary refund.
Warranty Start Date
For products shipped to a customer, the warranty period begins on the fifth calendar day after the recorded delivery date.
For products purchased or collected during an in-person appointment, the warranty period begins on the fifth calendar day after the purchase or pickup date, whichever occurs later.
The warranty continues for 60 calendar days from the applicable start date.
A warranty claim must be submitted before the warranty period expires.
7. What the Warranty Covers
The limited warranty applies when Dailot determines that a product failed because of a defect originating from its workmanship, assembly, or manufacturing.
Examples may include:
-
A component that was incorrectly assembled.
-
A clasp, connection, or attachment that fails because of defective workmanship.
-
A structural problem present when the product was delivered.
-
Another verified failure caused by the original production process.
The existence of damage does not automatically establish a manufacturing defect. Dailot may inspect the product and request information reasonably necessary to determine the cause.
8. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
-
Normal wear and tear.
-
Accidents, impacts, crushing, pulling, or dropping.
-
Misuse, neglect, or improper handling.
-
Improper storage or cleaning.
-
Exposure to water, moisture, chemicals, perfume, cosmetics, oils, cleaning products, or extreme temperatures.
-
Tarnishing, discoloration, fading, or finish changes caused by wear or environmental exposure.
-
Allergic reactions or individual sensitivities.
-
Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications.
-
Failure to follow product-care instructions.
-
Loss or theft.
-
Damage occurring after the customer transferred the product to another person.
-
Minor variations in color, shape, texture, pattern, measurement, or finish that are normal for handmade, natural, dyed, plated, coated, or manufactured products.
-
Customer preference or a change of mind after the 15-day exchange period.
9. Quality-Control Process
Dailot products pass through a quality-control process before being offered for sale or delivered to customers.
Our quality-control process may include visual inspection and review of the product’s assembly, components, condition, and finish.
Quality control reduces the possibility of defects but does not eliminate every potential issue. If you believe a product has a manufacturing or workmanship defect, contact us within the applicable warranty period.
10. How to Request an Exchange or Warranty Service
To request an exchange, repair, or warranty evaluation, email bydailot@gmail.com and provide:
-
Your full name.
-
Order number or proof of purchase.
-
Date and method of purchase.
-
A description of the issue.
-
Clear photographs or video showing the product and reported problem.
-
Photographs of the packaging when the product arrived damaged.
-
Any other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the request.
Do not mail or deliver a product until Dailot provides instructions and authorization.
Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. We must review the information and, when necessary, inspect the product.
11. Inspection and Warranty Determination
After receiving the required information or returned product, Dailot will determine whether:
-
The product qualifies for a standard exchange.
-
The condition is covered by the limited warranty.
-
Additional information or inspection is required.
-
The issue resulted from an excluded cause.
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Dailot will determine whether repair or replacement is the appropriate remedy, considering the nature of the defect, product availability, and the feasibility of repair.
12. Repairs and Replacements
If an approved repair is possible, Dailot will repair the product within a reasonable period.
If repair is not reasonably possible, Dailot may replace the product with:
-
The same product, if available; or
-
A reasonably comparable product of similar value.
A replacement does not create a new 60-day warranty period. The replacement remains covered for the longer of:
-
The remainder of the original warranty period; or
-
Any minimum period required by applicable law.
13. In-Person Purchases and Appointments
This policy also applies to purchases completed during an in-person appointment with Dailot.
Products purchased in person must be accompanied by a receipt or other acceptable proof of purchase.
An appointment to inspect, exchange, repair, pick up, or return a product must be arranged in advance. Customers should not arrive at the business address without a confirmed appointment.
Approval of an appointment does not guarantee that an exchange or warranty claim will be accepted. The product remains subject to inspection and the conditions of this policy.
14. Shipping Damage or Incorrect Products
If a package arrives damaged or contains an incorrect product, contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Please keep:
-
The product.
-
The shipping box or envelope.
-
Interior packaging.
-
The shipping label.
-
Photographs showing the condition of the package and product.
These materials may be required for a carrier claim or to verify the issue.
Shipping delays and lost packages are governed by our separate Shipping Policy.
15. Order Cancellations
Contact us immediately if you need to request an order cancellation.
We will try to accommodate the request, but cancellation is not guaranteed once processing has begun. Preorders, custom work, or orders already transferred to the carrier may not be cancelable except where required by law.
If Dailot cancels an order because a product is unavailable or cannot be shipped as required, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law.
16. Consumer Rights
This policy is intended to provide contractual exchange and warranty benefits in addition to rights that may exist under applicable consumer-protection laws.
Certain states, provinces, or territories may provide mandatory rights concerning defective products, warranties, delayed orders, cancellations, or refunds. Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts a right that cannot legally be waived.
